CLEAR*, 301 CEDARTONE, 302 REDWOOD, 303 DARK OAK, 304 BLACK WALNUT, 305 CAPE COD
GRAY, 306 PRAIRIE GRAY, 311 CALIFORNIA REDWOOD, 315 LIGHT CEDAR PRODUCT DESCRIPTION: A high performance, high solids, exterior wood finish, which may be applied to obtain a stained or high build, deep gloss finish, depending on application procedures. The transparent natural wood tone finishes supplement and enhance the natural beauty o the woods grain and color. The cured finish has superior UV, water and abrasion resistance. The finish is also extremely resistant to attack from mildew and wood destroying organisms. Although the product exhibits excellent penetration on new and old wood, the cured finish is very resistant to airborne contamination and moisture due to its positive dry nature. PRODUCT USES: Perfect for old or new decks, outdoor furniture, spas, picnic tables, benches, playground equipment, decks, gazebos, shutters, doors, windows, and boats (teak). SURFACE PREPARATION NEW WOOD: Sand wood smooth with 150 grit sandpaper or pad to open grain. Rinse surface with 4:1 mix of water and household bleach or wood bleach (best for enhanced color). Rinse thoroughly with water and allow a minimum of 48 hours of good drying conditions before applying TWP. OLD WOOD: Rinse surface with 3:1 mix of water and household bleach to remove mildew; use wood bleach to brighten wood and follow with 1500 p.s.i. power washer to remove dead surface fiber. Allow a minimum of 48 hours of good drying conditions before applying TWP. PREVIOUSLY STAINED WOOD: Remove all of the old finish with power washing or paint stripper when necessary. Failure to remove the existing finish will result in a blotchy TWP application due to uneven penetration and discoloration of aged finish. METHOD OF APPLICATION: MIX THOROUGHLY BEFORE USING! Apply with brush, roll, spray, wiping cloth or applicator pad. Do not apply below 50° F, if rain is anticipated with 48 hours or heavy dew is present. DIRECTIONS FOR USE: MIX THOROUGHLY BEFORE USING! STAINED EFFECT: Apply a thin coat of approximately 400-500 sq.ft/gal. with brush, roll or applicator pad. This should minimize sheen development especially on tight, non-absorbing wood grain. Remove excess or puddled material that has not penetrated after 15 minutes with a paint pad or rags. See special precaution for rag disposal. GLOSS VARNISH LOOK: Apply a thin coat of approximately 400-500 sq.ft/gal., allow to dry for 48 hours or until firm and then apply a second thin coat. DRY TIME: 48-96 hours depending on drying conditions. Drying conditions will vary greatly depending on applied film thickness and weather conditions. Multi coat applications may be "tacky" for up to 30 days. Full cure will begin when surface is tack free. THINNING AND
